I love this new product! Is not heavy on my thin hair but gives it that extra volume!!
This ultra dry version weighs down my fine hair. I don't color or use my heat, so my hair is fairly shiny at baseline - couldn't see a difference in shine after using the spray. My waves aren't as defined and bouncy either.
I'm a big fan of R and Co and have been using their products for years. We used this texture spray yesterday in my salon after my color and it is lovely. A fine mist, weightless and touchable texture, insane lift. Unfortunately even though it's labeled gluten free and we thought we were being safe, this product contains hydrolyzed wheat protein which set off my wheat allergy. It's probably fine for celiacs but if you have a deadly wheat allergy, please avoid at all costs.

In regard to your concerns about the R+Co Bleu Volume Root Booster Spray, we first would like to help clarify the distinction between “Gluten-Free” and “Wheat-Free.” While our product is certified Gluten-Free, which means it is safe for individuals with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, it is not the same as being wheat-free. Gluten-free products are formulated without gluten, as the gluten protein, which is responsible for gluten allergy, has been removed by the raw material supplier. By removing the gluten protein, the product is safe for use for those with gluten allergies. However, gluten-free products may still contain wheat-derived ingredients that have been processed to remove gluten. If you have a severe wheat allergy, we would recommend you look for products that are wheat-free to ensure they do not contain any wheat derivatives. Generally, we recommend that if you have a severe allergy and are in doubt, you consult your physician before using.
