Great volume with a new favorite scent
I have fine, thick, wavy hair that is a very dark brunette in color. I have found this lifestyler to work great for extra body and texture with NO visible residue! It lets me stretch between wash days giving my hair a little more “oomph” and preventing an oily appearance. I also appreciate it has a pleasant but not overly intense smell. I’ll be reordering!
I tried this product out recently on both wet and dry, styled hair. I sprayed it predominantly at the roots, but tried a little as a texturizer/finisher, too. This product definitely adds volume, and my styling looked great, but my hair felt awful - sort of dry and a bit stiff/gummy. It’s a bit crazy how this can make the hair look soft and voluminous, but feel so unpleasant. I couldn’t run my fingers through it easily, and the styling would need touching up if I did. Also, I’m really not a fan of the fragrance on this one!! Very 80s hairspray compared to other R&Co products. I’ll stick to Trophy as a finishing spray/texturizer. Still on the hunt for a favorite volume-adding spray.
