I love, love, love Gemstone Color Shampoo! I smells divine, and keeps my grays shiny and silvery, no brassiness whatsoever.
I really like this mini bottle for travel! One bottle is really all I need, as I only have to shampoo every three days, but I have two bottles just in case I’m on a longer trip.
When I get home I refill these small bottles from the liter-sized bottle of Gemstone Color Shampoo and I’m all set for my next adventure!
First off, let me say that I love the smell of this shampoo!
I no longer color my hair, but I do have a lot of gray in it now. Gemstone shampoo keeps my gray hair nice and silvery, no brassiness whatsoever.
I like this large container—my partner has promised me a new shower (with a toiletry niche or two), so I might use this liter size as a permanent fixture in a shower niche. On the other hand, I currently use an 8 oz bottle in the shower and it’s perfectly fine. So I could use the liter bottle to refill the 8 oz and travel-size bottles I already have.
Either way it’s 5 stars and a thumbs up from me!
I absolutely adore the scent of this shampoo! I’m seriously considering adding R+Co products from different lines that have this same scent.
Sorry, can’t speak to the efficacy of the shampoo’s color protection as I no longer color my hair. I can say that the gray in my hair is sparkling silver, no brassiness at all.
I have noticed that Gemstone color shampoo leaves my hair a bit dryer. I offset that by using two leave-in oil/softening products on my ends.
No heat styling of any sort for me, just wash and go. My hair can go for three days between washes now, instead of just two.
This 8.5 oz size is what I typically keep in my shower.
Love how soft and healthy it leaves my hair. Even with it bring colored, it is shiny and mousturized.
