First off, this heat protectant is for DRIED hair, which buyers may not realize. I’ve been using a Living Proof brand heat protectant spray for when my hair is already blow-dried, but I wanted to find something with more heat protectant ingredients. I love what’s in this product, and it’s super easy to use - the bottle sprays in a fine, even sort of way that most don’t. However, this leaves my hair feeling so so stiff/dry!!! I used it before curling my hair, and the curls looked great, but I definitely didn’t want to touch my hair, and I kind of just wanted to go ahead and wash it out after using it. I do think it protected my hair well during curling, so it fulfilled its purpose, but I never want to use it again!
On the other hand, R&Co’s heat protectant spray for blow drying damp hair (Bleu Smooth & Seal Blow Dry Mist) is fantastic, and easily the best heat protectant spray I’ve ever used. Smells good, too! I highly recommend that one!!!

It's hard to tell how well this product works and I will know more over time as I use it. My hope is that it is protecting my hair from the heat elements of my curling iron.
