I love the Dallas shampoo and conditioner set. They work well for fine hair. They smell good, clean and condition well, and add a bit of volume to my flat hair. I’ve been using this set for 2 years now and do not plan to stop.
I've been trying different shampoos and conditioners in an effort to find a go-to. Decided to try these during a 30% off sale. They were still more than I'd typically pay for shampoo (of these smaller sizes, at least) and I definitely wouldn't pay full price given my financial situation -- if I'm splurging on haircare I want the bottles to have few more fluid ounces of product in it! Either that, or several dollars knocked off the price.
That aside, these are perfectly decent products. They didn't seem weigh down my hair, they lathered and conditioned pretty well, smell very pleasant (reminds me of a less perfume-y Light Blue by D&G?). My hair is straight, fine in texture, and copious in density. I wash every other day as my scalp is less oily post-accutane but still gets pretty oily by day two in around the afternoon. I don't think I'll repurchase these as I think my scalp became oily a little faster than usual with the shampoo. If I washed daily this wouldn't be a big deal, though in that case I'd appreciate larger bottles!
As for the thickening aspect, I never really notice a difference when it comes to these claims; I'm just looking for something that cleans my hair without weighing it down. Any potential oomph is a plus!
These aren't a rave from me but if you're curious I would still recommend trying, as haircare is subjective! I appreciate the variety of products R+Co has and during the next sale I'll consider trying something else. :)
Dallas biotin thickening shampoo and conditioner works great on my fine hair. . . Leaves my hair feeling thick and soft.
Formula has change- not as hydrating as it used to be. Bummer!
