I think this is good for people with fine straight hair but probably not thick. After watching the videos, I thought this look, but my hair ended up just looking poofy as i have dense medium thick hair. This will leave a texture in your hair as thats what gives it that jouged look. For people who don’t mind a grittier texture and want that bed head look, I think this would help you achieve that.

I have used this incredibly versatile paste for literally 7 years since I started doing hair on set. I love the new packaging, it looks so cute on my bathroom shelf. I use this as a much more affordable matte cream vs. the Oribe one. I first mix Badlands well in my palms and then I skirt a dime sized amount on top to mix the 2 products and voila! Textured, matte, piecey style on my super straight Asian hair.
I’m excited to give this to my Rapunzel four-year-old, whose actual name is Grace. She has the most beautiful hair. Now she has a high quality product to keep her hair in place to use in the morning. Princess status!
I use this to get that "messy" look, I have a pixie cut and it works well. Just the right amount of texture without feeling sticky or tacky.
