Great!
I love this stuff! I have a lot of hair (cut in a below the chin bob), but it is fine with almost zero natural texture and a scalp that leans very oily. I have to wash my hair daily - not only because it absolutely won’t accept any kind of styling on day 2, but I actually get acne on my scalp otherwise. I’m 50, so I’ve given up on this improving with age. I wasn’t looking for anything to extend time between washes, but rather for some kind of texture without adding a lot of product. Spray-on dry shampoos did nothing but fill my hair with static. What caught my attention with Badlands was that it can be used on damp hair before blow drying, as that’s the only way my hair will style anyway . I’m so glad I gave it a shot! Yes, it’s pricey, but a little goes a long way. My first jar has lasted at least 9 months. I use a tiny spatula left over from a facial product to control how much I scrape off the top, warm it with my fingers, then rake through damp hair, throughout the length in the front and focusing on the roots to mid-shaft everywhere else. It gives me some texture around my face and helps stave off some oil at the roots throughout the day. Also, being a paste makes it much more travel-friendly than a product that is dependent on a spray mechanism. I’m definitely purchasing this again!
I really like a different brand of aerosol dry shampoo, but I have seen this all over tik tok, and my biggest 2nd day plus hair gripe is losing definition of my natural waves and deflated volume on my fine hair. I was definitely skeptical of this because putting a paste into my fine hair seemed like it would have the opposite effect. Oh my stars, this is my second R+Co product and I am blown away AGAIN! I LOVE badlands. It's kept my hair clean for days, I can add texture back into my saved and oomph up the volume. I haven't been doing blow dried styles lately because I'm post surgery and I need an easy routine. Air drying my hair tends to build up grease quickly and my hair doesn't look nice by day 2 and has been impossible to restyle. This product is a friggin game changer. Who would have thought! A little goes a long way.
It’s different but it works great
it works ok. Just comes in a really small amount for the price.
